Valley came out on top against Carrabec on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Cobras with a sharp 14-4 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 last Friday.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carrabec, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will challenge Temple Academy at 10:00 a.m. on the 16th. As for Carrabec, they will face off against Telstar at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Cobras' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
