Baseball Recap: Tecumseh Takes a Loss

Tecumseh fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Pinckney on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tecumseh saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Clement, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Tecumseh's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Pinckney, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

While Tecumseh had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
