Minster has gone a perfect 6-0 against Covington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. Minster's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Covington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Minster is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against St. John's on Thursday. They fell 4-1 to the Bluejays. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Covington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Milton-Union.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Minster, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything went Minster's way against Covington when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Minster made off with an 8-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
