Softball Recap: Cane Ridge Takes a Loss

Overton hit Cane Ridge with a 11-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Ravens came up short against the Bobcats, falling 14-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-2 loss back in April.

Cane Ridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Busby, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Cane Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Overton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Cane Ridge nor Overton have any future games scheduled.
