Baseball Recap: Louisburg Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Louisburg and Bunn have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Warriors lost 12-2 to the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Monday.

Louisburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Leonard, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Louisburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Bunn, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Louisburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against South Granville on the 22nd. As for Bunn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Western Harnett on the 23rd.
