Baseball Recap: Eau Claire Takes a Loss

Eau Claire lost against Mid-Carolina last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Eau Claire might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-1 to Mid-Carolina, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Shamrocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eau Claire's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Mid-Carolina, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Eau Claire will venture away from home to face off against Fairfield Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mid-Carolina, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against River Bluff on the 29th.
