Soccer Recap: Whitney Point Takes a Loss

Whitney Point was the 2-0 winner over Groton when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Red Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Whitney Point have lost by just one goal.

Whitney Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Groton, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitney Point is set to face off against their familiar foe Charles O. Dickerson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Groton will take on rival Moravia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
