Volleyball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Takes a Loss

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alma Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Alma this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Rilee Schutz paced Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s offense, picking up 15 kills. Schutz got some help from Klaire Pohl and her 28 assists. Schutz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Alma, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Medicine Valley on the 16th. As for Alma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Southwest on the 16th.
