Soccer Game Preview: Payton College Prep vs. Niles Notre Dame

The Payton College Prep Grizzlies are taking a road trip to challenge the Niles Notre Dame Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Payton College Prep is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Niles North. That's two games in a row now that Payton College Prep have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Niles Notre Dame). Everything went their way against Marian Catholic on Saturday as they made off with an 8-2 victory. Niles Notre Dame haven't had any issues with Marian Catholic recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Niles Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Payton College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3-3.

Payton College Prep might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Niles Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Grizzlies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
