Soccer Game Preview: Delano vs. Rockford

The Delano Tigers will face off against the Rockford Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delano is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Delano proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Watertown-Mayer get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Delano's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Watertown-Mayer are ranked 146th).

Meanwhile, Rockford lost 10-2 to Jordan on Tuesday. Rockford were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Rockford's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Delano, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-4.

Delano took their victory against Rockford in their previous meeting back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
