Soccer Game Preview: Hemet vs. Valley View

The Hemet Bulldogs will take on the Valley View Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hemet has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 16.

On Tuesday, Hemet didn't have quite enough to beat Paloma Valley and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Valley View's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Arlington by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hemet's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1.

Hemet came up short against Valley View in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 3-1. Can Hemet avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
