Ilwaco hadn't done well against Wahkiakum recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Fishermen's pitchers stepped up to hand the Mules a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Fishermen, who have now won 11 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Ilwaco's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wahkiakum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
