Volleyball Recap: Estes Park Extends Winning Streak to Three

Estes Park proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Gilpin County Eagles 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won three contests in a row.

Estes Park took Gilpin County into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 21-25, 17-25, 15-10.

The victory got Estes Park back to even at 4-4. As for Gilpin County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Estes Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Rocky Mountain Lutheran on the 4th. As for Gilpin County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Byers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
