Basketball Game Preview: Marshall Academy Griffons vs. Rudolf Steiner Storm

The Marshall Academy Griffons are taking a road trip to square off against the Rudolf Steiner Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Marshall Academy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Will Carleton Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The loss was the Griffons' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Rudolf Steiner ended up a good deal behind Jackson Preparatory & Early College on Thursday and lost 53-34. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marshall Academy fell to 3-1. As for Rudolf Steiner, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Marshall Academy beat Rudolf Steiner 61-51 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Marshall Academy repeat their success, or does Rudolf Steiner have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
