On Tuesday Upson-Lee will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will venture away from home to face off against the Fayette County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Fayette County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Upson-Lee, who comes in off a win.

Upson-Lee's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Howard.

Hayden Smith was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season. Nylin Underwood was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Fayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 11-5 to Sandy Creek.

Tristan Jordan was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out 15 batters over 8.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and nine unearned) runs off two hits. Jordan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jayla Austin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, Fayette County didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 15 strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've posted since was before the start of last season.

Upson-Lee's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Fayette County, their record now sits at 0-5.
