Monarch entered their tilt with Horizon on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Coyotes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 24-26, 25-17, 25-18.

Ava Maliawco paced Monarch's offense, picking up 13 kills. Maliawco got some help from Eva Becht and her 18 assists. Maliawco was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Monarch's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Horizon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

Monarch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Centaurus on the 30th. As for Horizon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Fairview on the 1st.
