Baseball Recap: Tate Aggies vs. West Florida Jaguars

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pace, Tate was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the West Florida Jaguars. For the Aggies, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Bryton McLellan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
