Football Game Preview: Lexington vs. Carrollton

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Lexington will square off against Carrollton at 7:00 PM on Friday. Lexington know how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Carrollton like a good challenge.

Lexington put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Richmond as the squad secured a 44-8 victory. No one put up better numbers for Lexington than senior Alvaro Porras, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 229 yards and 3 touchdowns. This marked the 9th matchup in which Porras has rushed for over 100 yards.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Carrollton, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were completely outmatched, falling 13-48 to Lafayette County.

Lexington simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Carrollton 52-0. Will Lexington repeat their success, or does Carrollton have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
