Cranston West's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Barrington Eagles 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Cranston West took Barrington into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 15-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Lionel Alvarez paced Cranston West's offense, picking up seven kills. Alvarez got some help from Ashton Mak and his 20 assists. Mak also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Kevin Dilone, racking up five apiece.

Cranston West's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Barrington, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
