Basketball Recap: Wilmington Wildcats vs. Herscher Tigers
The Wilmington Wildcats won the last time they faced the Herscher Tigers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Wilmington walked away with a 59-50 victory over the Tigers.
Wilmington's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reid Juster, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Ryan Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Wilmington has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Herscher, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
