The Eastern Musketeers will venture away from home to square off against the Borden Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Eastern was able to grind out a solid win over Clarksville, taking the game 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Musketeers.

Trenton Friedmeyer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Reas Sater also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Austin hit Borden with a eight-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves lost 12-2 to the Eagles. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Borden's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Eastern might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Borden when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Can the Musketeers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
