Volleyball Recap: Deer Park Wildcats vs. Mariemont Warriors
Deer Park lost against Mariemont back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Deer Park Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Mariemont Warriors.
Riley Carr and Abigail Pettyjohn certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Carr had 14 digs, while Pettyjohn had nine kills and six blocks. With that strong performance, Carr is now averaging an impressive 4.6 digs per game.
Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Mariemont, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Park will welcome Madeira at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mariemont, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Clermont Northeastern at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
