After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vista PEAK Prep, Gateway was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Adams City Eagles 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Gateway's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Adams City, they moved to 4-2-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gateway will square off against Denver West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway's defense better be ready for this one: Denver West have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Adams City, they will take on Thornton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
