Volleyball Recap: Capital Golden Eagles vs. Skyview Hawks

After flying high against Borah last Tuesday, Capital came back down to earth. The Capital Golden Eagles lost 3-0 to the Skyview Hawks on Thursday. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Hawks recently, as their game on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Skyview was led to victory by Kensie Seward and Nina Ferraro. Seward had 17 digs and two aces, while Ferraro had three digs and 17 assists. That's the most aces Seward has posted in her last nine matches.

With the loss, Capital broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-10-1. As for Skyview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
