Baseball Recap: Appleton North Lightning vs. Appleton East Patriots
Appleton North was the 7-2 winner over Appleton East when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Appleton North Lightning lost 10-4 to the Appleton East Patriots on Thursday. Appleton North has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Appleton North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Hietpas, who went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Bergin, who scored two runs and stole a base.
