If Northland wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Columbus International, they should've done a better job of containing  Leila Carter. The Columbus International Lions claimed a resounding  71-27 victory over the Northland Vikings thanks in part to  Carter, who  dropped  a double-double on 32  points and 19  rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having  posted eight or more  boards the last 14 times she's  played.
Columbus International has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record  this season. As for Northland, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which is still a better percentage than their 4-13 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when  the Columbus International Lions  challenge   the Linden-McKinley Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Northland, they will face off against Mifflin at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northland is facing Mifflin at the right time seeing as Mifflin is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
