Soccer Game Preview: High School of the Future vs. Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech

The High School of the Future Firebirds will square off against the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. High School of the Future has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech will come in with three straight wins.

High School of the Future managed to keep up with West Philadelphia until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Firebirds lost 5-1 to the Speedboys. That's two games in a row now that High School of the Future have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech). Their defense stepped up to hand Tacony Academy Charter a 7-0 shutout on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Yuilder Sarabria as he scored three goals for his team.

High School of the Future's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
