Volleyball Game Preview: Julian Jaguars vs. Phillips Wildcats

The Julian Jaguars will head out to face off against the Phillips Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Julian is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Last Monday, Julian didn't have quite enough to beat Morgan Park and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Julian sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-27, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Phillips came up short against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest on Monday and fell 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Horizon Science Academy-Southwest scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Julian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
