Basketball Game Preview: Merino Rams vs. Wray Eagles

The Merino Rams just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Wray Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Merino can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Friday. They had to suffer through an 80-31 loss at the hands of Strasburg. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-18.

Meanwhile, Wray came up short against Yuma on Friday and fell 54-47.

Merino couldn't quite finish off Wray in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 43-40. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
