Salem is 8-2 against Green Run since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sundevils will host the Stallions at 5:15 p.m. Salem's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Salem is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against First Colonial on Tuesday. The Sundevils fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Green Run fell victim to Kempsville and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 5-0. Green Run haven't had much luck with Kempsville recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Green Run's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Salem came out on top in a nail-biter against Green Run in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Sundevils repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
