Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Elkhorn's Third in Last Four Outings

Elkhorn won the last time they faced Monona Grove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Elkhorn Elks walked away with a 68-58 victory over the Monona Grove Silver Eagles.

Elkhorn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Monona Grove, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Elkhorn and Monona Grove should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Elkhorn (ranked 62nd) will meet Whitewater (ranked 458th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Monona Grove (ranked 103rd) will meet DeForest (ranked 242nd) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
