Volleyball Game Preview: Catholic - N.I. Panthers vs. Houma Christian Warriors

The Catholic - N.I. Panthers will challenge the Houma Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catholic - N.I. is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Saturday, Catholic - N.I. was able to grind out a solid victory over Highland Baptist Christian, taking the game 2-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Houma Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Franklin 3-0 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won six in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Houma Christian took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-14, 25-9.

Catholic - N.I.'s record is now 16-12. As for Houma Christian, their record now sits at 15-7.

Catholic - N.I. took their victory against Houma Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
