Manchester Academy scored the most  points they've had  this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They received a  blow  as they fell  48-30 to the Regents Lions. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 A big part of Regents'  win came down to the chemistry between  Zane Hill and his top target  Hayes Leach. Hill threw for 344 yards and six  touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes while  Leach picked up 211 receiving yards and three  TDs. Leach is becoming a predictor of Regents' success: when he posts  at  least 100  receiving yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
Manchester Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Regents, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Manchester Academy will face off against Clinton Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th. As for Regents, they will challenge Oak Hill Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 12  points per game  this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
