Soccer Recap: East Hill Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Calvary Christian Academy

East Hill Christian faced Calvary Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 4-1 to the Patriots. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but East Hill Christian couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Wyatt Richards, who's now up to three this season.

East Hill Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, East Hill Christian and Calvary Christian Academy will both be playing Lighthouse Baptist Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Ambassadors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
