Auburn Baptist Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Redeemer Classical Griffins on Friday, falling 64-40.

Redeemer Classical's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samuel Peters, who posted 26 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards. Jeremiah Michael was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Auburn Baptist Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Ridgeview Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Redeemer Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-19 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 15th.
