Lynden Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Oak Harbor Wildcats as they made off with a 12-6 victory. The Lyncs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Lynden Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Oak Harbor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynden Christian will venture away from home to take on Sehome at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lyncs are facing the Mariners at the right time seeing as the Mariners are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Oak Harbor, they will head out on the road to challenge Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
