Baseball Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss

Clarkston was the 4-1 winner over Deer Park when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Bantams fell just short of the Stags by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bantams have suffered since April 16th.

Isaiah Woods was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Clarkston and nudges their season record down to 9-11-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Deer Park, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-8.

As of now, neither Clarkston nor the Stags have any future games scheduled.
