Volleyball Game Preview: Head-Royce Jayhawks vs. St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots

Head-Royce is on a four-game streak of home wins, while St. Joseph Notre Dame is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Head-Royce will host St. Joseph Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Head-Royce will be strutting in after a win while St. Joseph Notre Dame will be coming in after a defeat.

Head-Royce's tournament run continued when they took on Saint Mary's on Saturday. Head-Royce walked away with a 2-0 victory over Saint Mary's.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Notre Dame unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 3-0 to College Prep. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Pilots were not able to get on the board.

St. Joseph Notre Dame couldn't get the win, but they sure gave College Prep a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 30-28, 25-21.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Head-Royce, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
