Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Beats Praise Academy for Their Third Straight Win

Notre Dame Academy had won two straight games and Jazlynn Brown did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Notre Dame Academy Irish Wolfhounds blew past the Praise Academy Lions, posting a 68-28 win thanks in part to Brown, who almost dropped a triple-double on 32 points, 17 rebounds, and nine steals. The match was her 12th in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Cara Amadi, who posted 11 points along with five assists and five steals. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

Notre Dame Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Praise Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Notre Dame Academy has already played their next game (against Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Praise Academy and Trinity Christian School of Griffin will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
