Football Recap: Bozeman Runs Past Skyview + How To Watch

Bozeman's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-17 win over the Skyview Falcons. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Van Shockley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 142 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 127 yards and one TD. Those 142 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bozeman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 335 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bozeman's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Connor Baller, Oscar Glick, and Thomas Moran, who each picked up one sack apiece. Bozeman got some further help from Baller: he picked up a sack and made seven total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Although Skyview took the loss, they still got scores from Jackson Carter and Rayce Newman.

Bozeman now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Skyview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

As of now, neither Bozeman nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
