San Gabriel not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21, 2024. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Inglewood Sentinels an 8-0 shutout.

Ojani Tapia was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Will Ortega was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

San Gabriel's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Inglewood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

San Gabriel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 28-0 loss against Montebello on the 3rd. As for Inglewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-4 defeat against Compton on the 7th.
