Basketball Recap: Boulder City Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a good run, but Boulder City unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 55-36 to the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-30 back in January.

Boulder City's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Makenzie Martorano, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 20 rebounds, and Sophia Muelrath, who posted 14 points and seven boards. Martorano has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Christine Mojado, who had eight points and three steals.
