Baseball Recap: SA Roosevelt Comes Up Short

SA Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Churchill Chargers. The Rough Riders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

SA Roosevelt saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Hammack, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Hammack launched this season.

SA Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Churchill, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.

While SA Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
