Soccer Recap: Fort Vancouver Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Fort Vancouver was not quite King's Way Christian's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Fort Vancouver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while King's Way Christian are ranked 29th).

Fort Vancouver's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for King's Way Christian, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Coincidentally, Fort Vancouver and King's Way Christian will both be playing Stevenson the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will host the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trappers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
