Softball Recap: Squalicum Storm vs. Anacortes Seahawks
Squalicum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-1 to the Anacortes Seahawks. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.
Squalicum saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Hauber, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Squalicum's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Anacortes, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
Looking ahead, Squalicum will welcome Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anacortes, they will head out to face off against Lynden Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lyncs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Seahawks surely won't give up without a fight.
