Basketball Recap: Fort Defiance Comes Up Short

Fort Defiance lost against Wilson Memorial back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fort Defiance Indians were beaten by the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets 79-27. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Fort Defiance's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Wilson Memorial, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Defiance will welcome Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Defiance is facing Waynesboro at the right time seeing as Waynesboro is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wilson Memorial, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Riverheads at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
