Baseball Recap: Bainbridge Takes a Loss

Bainbridge was the 17-7 winner over Worth County when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bainbridge Bearcats fell 7-2 to the Worth County Rams on Friday.

Bainbridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bowen Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Smith brought in this season.

Bainbridge's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Worth County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bainbridge will face off against Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Monroe's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Worth County, they will challenge Bacon County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
