Volleyball Recap: Maxwell Has No Trouble Against Sandhills Valley

Maxwell not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Sandhills Valley Mavericks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-20.

Madelynn Nelson had an outrageously good game as she had ten digs and nine aces. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high. Rochelle Bradley also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Maxwell's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Sandhills Valley, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-17.

Maxwell has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wauneta-Palisade on the 16th. As for Sandhills Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Brady on the 16th.
