Softball Recap: Hersey Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Hersey managed to slip by Glenbrook North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huskies lost 11-0 to the Spartans on Saturday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Huskies were not able to get on the board.

Hersey's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Glenbrook North, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Hersey will square off against Wheeling at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Glenbrook North, they will take on Resurrection at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
