Volleyball Preview: Kossuth Aggies vs. Amory Panthers        
        
		
             Kossuth is 8-2 against Amory since August of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Kossuth Aggies will be staying on the road  to face off against the Amory Panthers at 6:00  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  contests after big wins in their previous games.
 Last Tuesday, Kossuth got the win against Rosa Fort  by a conclusive  3-0.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kossuth took every set by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-1, 25-6,  25-1.
  Brenyn Wilbanks and  Chloe Clement were among the main playmakers for Kossuth as the former  had 17  aces and 12  assists and the latter  had seven  aces. With that strong performance,  Wilbanks is now averaging an impressive 2.5  aces per game.
 Kossuth  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 52  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in ten consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Amory waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Red Raiders.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Amory took every set by at least 11 points. After all that action, the final score was 25-11, 25-14,  25-10.
 Amory's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Mia Thompson led the charge by  getting six  digs and three  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leecie Martin, who  had five  digs and three  aces.
 Kossuth pushed their record up to 16-8 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Amory, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season.
